Undergraduate Research Opportunities in the Humphries Lab

Undergraduates interested in my lab and my research are welcome throughout the year.

We are seeking students who will assist with construction and testing of/in cell-based and mouse models of breast cancer. Duties include cell culture, cell assay seeding, cell and tissue staining, and assisting with mouse colony management, animal imaging, and animal surgeries. We value collaborative thought and students will train and work closely with a diverse and interactive team of undergraduate and PhD students, post-docs, and faculty members. The first 3 months of training will begin with an online, volunteer arrangement, with hourly pay and in-person work after successful completion of the training phase. Approximate time commitment is 6-10 hrs per week during the academic year.
